Christopher Howlett has had over ten years experience in the Creative Industries and over five years as an interactive designer. He completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and was awarded a scholarship by the South Australian School of Art called the “Anne & Gordon Samstag International Visual Art Travelling Scholarship” to travel to Los Angeles to undergo a Master in Fine Arts at CalArts from 1998-2000. After completing his MFA he headed back to Australia and began work in 2002 in Creative Industries at QUT where he taught a Foundation Art class, a Painting elective class, and a digital video production workshop. He now works and lives in Melbourne.
